Delivery Terms
MOKKAPUU avoin yhtiö (business ID 2644020-7) sells products to individuals and companies of legal age in Finland and abroad. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.
Ordering
Products are ordered on the website of the online store by moving them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the shopping cart with a card payment offered by Shopify Payments or with the Klarna payment service. All customer information is treated confidentially. The contact information requested in connection with the order will not be used for anything other than the delivery of the order or for clarifying any ambiguities that arise in it. If you choose to subscribe to the newsletter, you will receive the newsletter from us to the e-mail you indicated. When ordering from the online store, you are required to have familiarized yourself with and agree to the delivery conditions valid at any given time.
You have the right to request correction, deletion or restriction of personal data processing. In this case, please contact our data controller. If you feel that the processing of your personal data has violated the data protection law, you can file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.
The raw materials in the products may vary.
Payment/Payment methods
The online store currently uses Klarna's payment service and Shopify Payments. We do not offer on-site payment for online store purchases. All orders must be paid with the online store's payment options.
Note! When using Klarna as a payment method for monthly subscription products such as month's surprise package, we charge the entire order payment upon delivery of the first order. If you want the charges to be made monthly, we recommend placing an order in 1-month packages at a time.
We activate payments made with Klarna within approx. two weeks after the order arrives, due to its short activation time, to avoid automatic scheduled order cancellations and the resulting hassles. In this case, it may be the case that you receive the invoice for the order before the order, because our production can sometimes take longer. Each of our subscribers will receive their products as soon as they are ready.
Order and payment confirmation
After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email.
Delivery method and costs
You can see the delivery costs of your order after choosing the delivery method. A postal package to Finland costs €9.06 (incl. VAT) and home delivery (express package) costs €12.50 (incl. VAT). Orders over €100 are free of delivery to Finland (postal parcel), excluding Åland. As a rule, we deliver orders as a postal package. Packages can be tracked with a tracking number. We strive to use recycled materials for package deliveries. Orders to other EU countries are calculated on checkout phase.
Posti packages: The order is delivered to the post office specified by your address, which you pick up against the arrival notification.
Post home delivery:The order is delivered directly to your home. Delivery takes place in larger towns on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., in other areas, as a rule, by 2 p.m.
After the order has been shipped, we will send a tracking number to the email address you provided.
Note! An uncollected package is not a cancellation of the order. We do not refund or store unclaimed packages.
Delivery time
Our most common production times are approx. 3-5 business days for coffees, approx. 1-2 weeks for chocolates (approx. 3-4 weeks during high season) after payment is received. We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or indirect harm caused by delays. Deviating delivery times will be announced on the website of the online store.
During the high season, the production times can be considerably longer than those mentioned, depending on the number of orders! Please note that we are not a factory or a store and we do not keep a warehouse. Our production is pure handwork and orders are made in the order they arrive, so delivery times are only estimates. If you are ordering with a specific schedule, you should notify our customer service separately: asiakaspalvelu@mokkapuu.com.
Exchange and return conditions
According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to exchange or return all or part of your order within 14 days of receiving the order. The right of return only applies to unused and salable products in the original packaging. The right of return does not apply to order products (coffees, chocolates, teas, candies and chocolates), foodstuffs (coffees, chocolates, teas, candies and chocolates) or gift cards. Problem situations
If the product is lost or damaged during transport or otherwise does not match your order, you must report the error to the parties mentioned in the exchange and return conditions within 14 days at the latest. If the package is damaged in the post or similar, the product must be immediately complained to the delivery service (Posti / Matkahuolto / Other courier service). We are not responsible for products damaged in transit. In bean coffee orders, it is sometimes possible that a darker/lighter bean or beans get lost in the mix. Although we do an extremely careful check in connection with packaging and roasting, we still cannot 100% guarantee that these different roasts will sometimes be included. This is mainly due to the operation of the toaster and is almost impossible to avoid despite all attention. Note! An uncollected package is not a cancellation of the order. We do not refund or store unclaimed packages.
Allergens
Gluten, milk or soy are not processed in our production facilities, but since a large part of our raw materials are produced in other production facilities, we cannot 100% guarantee that some residue of some allergen could be included in the product. So please take this into account when ordering.
Additional information for companies and custom work
Orders (coffees, chocolates, candies, sweets) can only be ordered from us against an advance payment. For larger orders, we have to make a separate order for coffee and chocolate raw materials, so we can reserve the necessary amount of raw materials. We make an offer for our products where we indicate the delivery time and price. However, since our product is completely handmade, we indicate the delivery time for larger orders as an estimate, not to the day. We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by delays and actions of the post office or a similar service such as a courier service. We also ask you to note that if the advance payment has not been paid by the due date, the customer with his order ends up at the end of the queue after those who have already paid and the previous schedule no longer applies, the raw materials may also change. If necessary, you can inquire about a new schedule if you know the payment will be delayed. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. In bean coffee orders, it is sometimes possible that a darker/lighter bean or beans get lost in the mix. We reserve the right to be creatively crazy in terms of order fulfillment and raw materials. Our main thing is always to offer high-quality handmade products that taste good and delight their recipients.
Online store pre-order products
Pre-order products are also available in our online store. These include, for example, chocolate calendars. The pre-order information for the product is stated in bold in the product description. In addition, according to the need and demand, we also update the delivery times in the product description.
If the delivery start time is indicated for the pre-order product, it means that the products will be manufactured and shipped chronologically from thestart time mentioned in the order order. This schedule also applies to other products ordered with pre-orders. If you want other products faster, we recommend placing a separate order without pre-order products.

In order to be able to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we may transmit your personal data in the form of contact and order information to Klarna in connection with the purchase transaction, so that Klarna can assess whether you are entitled to their payment methods and tailor these payment methods to you.
